Frequently asked questions:
Cleaning a fursuit?
Your commission will arrive with special cleaning instructions if there is any airbrushed or dry brushed pieces, or specifically delicate parts.
In general however, you can always check out this handy-dandy Weebly site on how to clean suits! https://cleanfursuits.weebly.com/
Foam yellowing?
When something made of upholstery foam is made of the white/lower density kind of foam(is easier to cut into and sculpt for me), often over time it can yellow due to being exposed to air or sunlight. This is normal. But if you are concerned, you can check out these sites;

Age of foam may however affect if the foam remains soft, or becomes easy to puncture. Generally, foam that is kept in places out of direct sunlight or in places without weathering can be kept soft for years.
Do also be mindful that if you don't have lycra lining to keep foam clean of sweat best you can; as built up sweat can cause stink or affect foam quality. Also be sure to NEVER soak foam in water for too long or entirely, and to COMPLETELY squeeze all moisture out to avoid the chance of molding.
Slicker brush, or comb?
When brushing out anything made with faux fur, a slicker brush typically gets the job done. But do keep in mind that it also does tend to pull some fur out, so should be used not frequently. To get easy knots out, a comb does the job and saves you the trouble of shedding fur or pulling fur out. Combs can also help when pulling fur out of seams, I use combs myself to pluck fur from seams as well as sometimes a needle.
Life of an item?
For fursuits, generally I have seen most be able to last for 4-8 years without too much damage if you take care of them properly. Cosplay items and etc. can be similar in life expectancy when taken care of properly as well.
