~ Terms of Service ~

I live in the Pacific Time Zone and also am currently a student, thus, be aware that any questions or concerns may not be answered right away either due to differences in time zones or because I am in class. Just like anyone else, I also have my 'off days'. Please limit any check-in's regarding commissions currently being worked on to once a week or so.
By agreeing to commissioning me, you are agreeing to abide by my Terms of Service.
Failure to abide may result in being; blacklisted, blocked, and/or have your commission canceled and/or not refunded, depending on the severity of the situation. I have the right to deny a commission based on if the commissioner has any scamming bewares and etc.
I do NOT offer any sexual related services(such as murrsuits). Please respect this.

For information on getting measurements for your commission, inquire from 'Measurements'. For quotes, check out 'Quote Form'.

Clients will be notified if any changes to the ToS has been made during active commissions.

I own various pets and animals from dog to lizard. Please let me know if you have any pet allergies. Specifically dog and or cat.

Privacy Agreement

Please be aware that the PayPal address I ask payments to be sent to may not always be my own. It may be a family member's, friend's, or even an artist I myself am commissioning. I will however, provide my own PayPal address if you ask for it specifically. Please do not share these addresses. I will not share your addresses as well, let it be PayPal or mailing addresses.
For snail mail, the mailing address will always be my own, however.
Shall you want your commission to be secret or a gift, upon request I will not publicly post any pictures of it until fully completed and confirmed it has arrived to its destination.
I also will keep your real name private, unless you give me permission to credit your commission as such on my page.

Deadlines and Queue

It is your responsibility to plan accordingly if you do wish to have a deadline, such as finalizing your commission spot five months before the actual event.
Please understand that small simple things may take up to three months to have fully completed, while more bigger or complex projects can take up to nine or twelve months. I aim to at least have commissions done within a year.
Natural disasters like a house fire, personal problems such as needing medical attention, and other important situations may also put my queue at a pause at times. I am human after all, not a machine. I also have emotional episodes in which may cause temporary communication pauses, though I try my best to respond to all messages within the same day it was sent, or within three days since it was sent.
If you want your commission to be moved up in the queue and worked on sooner, it will cost a fee depending on how soon you want your commission worked on and if it is possible to move up your slot.

3-Month Warranty

All products come with a 3-month warranty upon arrival to the client. Shall anything need to be fixed(Including; popped seams, wearable parts needing adjustment to more fit your size, or faults by me or the post office such as an unsewed seam or ripped seam), contact me with what needs to be fixed or adjusted and we can discuss shipping and if the fix will cost money or not(Depending on if I need more material and etc.). Please keep in mind that fixes may not be done or shipped back in a quick timeframe based on the size of my queue or other work, so plan accordingly if you have an event coming up. Fixes you make yourself or by other makers on your product do not void this warranty as long as you let me know what work has been done shall there be any reason for me to solely fix it during the warranty period.

Copyrighted Characters/ Cosplay

I only make copyrighted characters SOLELY for cosplay purposes. I do NOT 'mass produce' these kinds of commissions due to copyright issues(Such as Charizard from Pokémon or Kyuubi from Naruto). If your character is something like a Pokémon with noticeable differences such as hair or different patterns, I can accept that for a commission whenever without trouble.

Payment and Payment Plans

At this time, I accept PayPal and snail mail.
I am NOT responsible for any lost payments via snail mail method. If it doesn't arrive to me, I don't count it as a payment. To avoid having money stolen in the mail, wrap the cash in THICK pieces of paper(Dark paper is best) to conceal it and lower the chance of it being stolen. This method of payment is risky, though I have successfully received money this way in the past. Please understand there is a chance of it being stolen or damaged even with extra precaution, however.
I accept payment plans, and very flexible on this area. However, if it takes a long while for you to send payments or if they're very little(Say $20 a month for something worth $800), then I will work on your commission piece by piece slowly. I do NOT ship products until FULLY paid for.
I currently do not charge extra for long payment plans.
A 30% downpayment is required before any work can begin on your commission(See next section in ToS; Non-refundable 30% Material cost).

Nonrefundable 30% Material cost

In order for any work to begin on your commission, I require a 30% upfront downpayment. This is NON REFUNDABLE as it covers material costs such as fur, foam, other fabrics, and whatnot.
Client is protected through PayPal's goods and services system.
Shall the client want any material used in their commission afterwards, the leftover material will be sent to them along with their product. Extra material outside of material cost such as extra fabric yardages will apply a small fee. Please discuss if you want any leftover or extra same material used in your commission upfront.

Refunds and Cancellation

30% Material cost is NON REFUNDABLE once put down.
Cancellations caused by loss of job, medical emergency, sudden travel, or etc. can be done. But, please keep in mind that I am not a bank. I am not someone you can simply store your money with and take back whenever you casually feel like it. This is the cancellation protocol;
- Your commission, depending on its completion state, will either be changed up, altered, and sold or kept for future projects
- You will get a refund(depending on how much you have paid outside of the 30% material cost, for example if you paid $50 outside of the 30% material cost downpayment towards something worth $200 and ask for a refund/cancellation, you will get $50 back but not receive the 30% downpayment)
Protocol for refunds is similar, though if multiple refunds are issued, I will work on one refund at a time and won't start working on the other until the largest refund has been fully finished. For example, if Person A issues a $50 refund and Person B issues a $70 refund, I will work on Person B's refund first before Person A's.

Shipping

I DO NOT ship out a product until it is FULLY paid for.
I use USPS to ship items out with, complete with tracking. Shipping will also be calculated up front in your total quote price.
Sometimes I am able to ship the package from my home, other times I have to go up to the post office myself to ship things out. Delays in shipping out items may be caused by busy holidays such as Christmas, weather, or testing/finals week periods in classes. Once your product(s) have been fully paid for, I will do my best to ship out your item(s) ASAP and notify you once they're on their way.
Shipping costs within the US for item(s) less than $950 can range from $20-$150. If your product(s) total up to more than $950, shipping is free.
International shipping can range from $50-500. Please keep this in mind if you are commissioning from UK or Canada or anywhere outside the US.

Age

I do NOT work with clients under 18 due to past experiences of working with minors, and for my own legal protection in contract. If a client lies about their age and turns out to be under 18, I will have to cancel the commission and or blacklist the client especially if their parent has no knowledge of the commission. If you are a minor wanting to commission me, have your parent/legal guardian DIRECTLY contact me themselves.

Edits and Changes

Shall you want any details added in mid-work or before work or after work has been completed, it will depend on if there will be an extra fee to apply said detail such as a marking or extra horn and etc.
Shall you want anything changed after being shown a WIP pic, please let me know and don't be afraid to even give your thoughts and critique before I proceed working to save you from any additional cost to fix or add something.

Liberty Art Pieces

I offer discounted liberty art pieces.
Liberty art pieces have a form you can fill out regarding color palette, species, and more. I will draw up four different designs and you can choose your liking as well as have up to five edits on the design of your choice.
